Bringing Live Moments to the World

Every day and night, magnificent musical performances take place somewhere in the world. However, only a tiny fraction of these moments are recorded and shared with posterity. Until now, countless legendary performances have existed only in the memories of those fortunate enough to be present.

RME Premium Recordings aims to change this reality. By leveraging high-definition spatial audio technology, the company has drastically reduced the equipment and costs traditionally associated with recording, thereby lowering the barriers to producing live recording works.

The Philosophy: “Direct-from-Source” Audio The core philosophy of RME Premium Recordings is to deliver sound that is as fresh as the moment it was captured. The goal is to provide a transparent, uncolored sound that captures not just the music, but the very atmosphere and air of the venue itself.

The company is dedicated to delivering these recordings to the user’s playback environment without unnecessary processing or “flavoring,” ensuring an experience akin to a “farm-to-table” concept for audio.

Technical Commitment To achieve this, RME Premium Recordings commits to true high-definition spatial audio standards, starting from the recording stage at 24-bit/96kHz or higher. This ensures that the nuance and depth of the live performance are preserved with absolute fidelity.

Tatsushi Omori : Resonscape I ーResonance in Silence / Resonscape II ーAfter the Resonance

Resonscape is a series that captures the sound of the marimba not merely as “audio,” but as a landscape. In “Resonscape II — After the Resonance,” we listen closely to the air and presence that remain after the sound has faded. When performance, space, and recording become inseparable, music ceases to be an event and instead becomes a continuing presence — a…
