“Future Nostalgia: Japonisme” — Available from July 24, 2025 on Music Subscription Services in Immersive Audio & Stereo Versions

Transcending eras and cultures—
Connecting the “past” and “future” of Japonisme, pianist Mana Fukui presents a trilogy of solo piano albums:
“Future Nostalgia: Japonisme,” “Future Nostalgia: Japonisme and the Orient,” and “Future Nostalgia: Treasured Miniatures.”
All three works will be released on major music subscription platforms starting July 24, 2025, available in both Immersive Audio and Stereo versions.

The albums feature works by composers inspired by Japonisme—including Debussy, Scriabin, and Szymanowski—as well as pieces by Toru Takemitsu, whose music embodies the rich lineage of French composers such as Debussy and Messiaen.

Centered on the theme of Japonisme, this exquisite collection weaves together the influences of French music, the Orient, and the meeting of East and West into a poetic soundscape.
